Here’s the ‘cred of behind our stellar line up:
Headliner – Rob Mailloux
“It is important to have comedy clubs that are willing to take a risk in booking comedians who have something to say,” says Tyler Morrison (Creative Director of the Cottage Country Comedy Festival, touring partner of Rob). Enter Rob Mailloux, who not only believes this…but he’s been banned from performing at Absolute Comedy Clubs and Yuk Yuk’s for his vocal slayings. Curator and founder of the Dark Comedy Festival, Rob’s been all over the country, has released a DVD My Mother Would Be Proud, among a host of other stellar credits.

Stand Up by: Todd Graham
Warning: Todd Graham May Digress.
Todd Graham considers his bio to be a work in progress and is uncomfortable with anybody seeing it until after he is dead. It’s really going to be something. Names will be named, that sort of thing. He plans to blow the lids off of several sacred cows. He is also a firm believer that no one ever reads past the first couple of lines of these things anyway and that it mostly all come down to the headshot in the end. Regardless – Please enjoy Todd Graham responsibly.
Improv by MANTOWN!
Before there was time, there was MANTOWN. An eternal collection of man-oriented, Platonic forms that first took corporeal form (on stage) in 2006, obliterating the theatre and all the God-fearing audience who made the mistake of attending that night. This self-proclaimed testosterone-fuelled improv juggernaut has toured festivals across North America and hosted a wide variety of guests at home including: Rowdy Roddy Piper, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Tim Meadows, Jerry Minor, Steve Little, and Hercules himself, Kevin Sorbo.
On the first Friday of every month, at 10:30 pm, MANTOWN irridates the Comedy Bar (945 Bloor St. W.) with MANTOWN: The Improvised Frat Party. It’s a night to remember (but you won’t). MANTOWN’s current population is four plus drinking problems. Including ADAM CAWLEY (Second City, Guidance), JASON DeROSSE (Second City, The Sketchersons), BOB BANKS (Try It!, PB&J), and ROB NORMAN (Second City, Bad Dog Theatre). With The Dean of MANTOWN himself, ROB BAKER (Second City).

Host: Blayne Smith
Blayne Smith’s high energy storytelling and unique appearance have quickly established him as a sure-fire way to light up any show. His tales of a Rock ‘n’ Roll lifestyle and casual charm have endeared him to crowds as an act or host. You may have caught Blayne performing on television shows like iChannel’s No Kidding and MTV’s Losing It. Maybe it was at festivals like NXNE, Canadian Music Fest, the Dark Comedy Festival, or as a 2013 Tim Sims Award Nominee. Perhaps you saw him opening for awesome acts like Brian Posehn, Aisha Tyler and Robert Kelly or hosting for greats like Matt Braunger, Todd Glass and Kurt Metzger. If you haven’t seen him yet, you can catch him every other Wednesday at the Downtown Toronto Yuk Yuk’s.
We can’t tell you who, but we’ve got a very special guests. Big time, amazingly great, dynamite funny comics.
